Broadway Ultra Society 2012 Mid-Summer Special Event
(Second Annual)
The BUS 6-Hour Pajama Romp
Saturday -July 28th - 5pm to 11pm

The weather was wet (for a while), and we had some scoring problems (for a while),
but it looked like everyone had a good evening (me included)... and we finally
have Preliminary results ready (above):

Dennis Ball is our 2012 Men's Champion, with 45.31 miles.

Last Year's Women's Champion, Jimena Sachdev, repeated her victory this year, with 41.97 miles.

A total of more than 2,025 miles were completed by the 72 runners.

That's an average of 28.13 miles for all runner.

We'll soon have Final results avaiable, along with more detailed data from NYCRuns.

2012 Race Description:

The race will be held in Astoria Park, Queens on well-lit park paths (not on the track)... permit still pending, but hold the date.
The course loop will be about 1.27 miles, with a couple of "significant rises".
The race will start exactly at 5PM and end exactly at 11PM.
All runners will recieve specially imprinted BUS pajama shorts.
Mass transit from the city on the N train to Astoria Blvd (6 blocks from the start/finish area. Richie will make sure everyone will get a ride back to the train after the race.
Parking near the start/finish area is available.
This will be an official NYUR Grand Prix event.
