THEME OF EVENT: A point-to-point run from Fort Lee, NJ to Queens, traversing "over" 6 notable NYC Bridges with the bulk of the
route on pedestrian paths along the Hudson & East Rivers. There are only a few key intersections. The event will be scored as a
race, but will be conducted informally in nature, more like an urban journey run. The route is basically flat, except for the climbs and
declines from the Bridges. The route has very little shade and will be marked. Route directional sheets will be distributed.

CHECK IN: At the Astoria Park Fieldhouse starting at 6:15 AM. You will be transported at 7:00 AM SHARP (do not be late) to the
START at Fort Lee. Call if directions are needed to the START.

TRANSPORT TO START: Part of your entry fee will be paying for the transport to the START. Please be advised that post-entries
may not be guaranteed a ride on the transport if the transport becomes overly full. I strongly suggest to pre-enter.

AUTO DIRECTIONS: Grand Central Parkway (GCP) westbound from Queens & Long Island: Exit 3 "Hoyt Avenue". After exit, stay
STRAIGHT on Hoyt Avenue. North the whole way towards East River, but try to maneuver to and proceed in the right lane. Go to the

Triboro Bridge eastbound from Manattan, Bronx, Westchester, CT and NJ: Take 1st exit in Queens at "31st Street". After exit, stay
STRAIGHT (passing el) for 2 blocks to turn LEFT onto 33rd Street (just before Burker King). Go one block across the GCP and then
follow above GCP westbound directions to the parking lot.

TRANSIT DIRECTIONS: "W" subway to Astoria, Queens. Get off at "Astoria Blvd" station (next to last stop on W Line). Walk west
approx. 1/2 mile on Hoyt Avenue North or Hoyt Avenue South to Astoria Park. Both streets will take you to park, but Hoyt Ave South
will become Astoria Park South after 21st Street.

possible arrangements.
