The Istanbul Marathon starts on the continent of Asia, crosses the "Bosphorus
Bridge"
and ends in the ancient and historic side of Istanbul, on the continent of
Europe !

is putting together a package
for the 2007 Marathon. The Tour will be led by an experienced Ultra Runner
who is also a part time resident of Istanbul, and is familiar with all aspects
of Traveling and getting around in Turkey!
(In addition to being the webmaster
of New York Ultra Running.)
Istanbul is both safe for Americans
and with the strength of the dollar is very
inexpensive and bargains galore can be found everywhere !
Meals are very reasonably priced and who can resist a Turkish Rug ?
Istanbul- where east meets west, is both a modern cosmopolitan city while
still preserving its past- with many historical Mosques,
Churches and Synagogues.
