SPECIAL EVENT NOTICE
Broadway Ultra Society 2015 Special Event
The BUS 6-Hour Brookville Run
 
Saturday - September 19th, 2015 at 8:15 AM

Due to various circumstances, the long-time Staten Island 6 Hour Ultra Marathon scheduled for Sept 19th, was NOT held this year. Hopefully, it will be back next year.

Since SI was a New York Ultra Running Grand Prix Event, BUS coordinated this similar run as a substitute in the Grand Prix series. It was a 6-Hour ultra event in Brookville Park (in Rosedale, Queens) on a 1.34 mile loop of park paths. Full details are described below.

It took a while to finalize the results... no excuses... things just take longer than they do.

2015 Summary Description:
  1. The race will be held in Brookville Park, Rosdale (Queens) on macadam park paths. (Map/Directions)
  2. The course loop will be about 1.34 miles; mainly flat with 1 gradual rise; 70% shady.
  3. The race will start at 8:15 AM.
  4. Pre-registered runners will recieve a BUS imprinted wicking shirt.
  5. Awards to everyone finishing a marathon or longer.
  6. Mass transit from the City on LIRR to Rosedale (about 1/2 mile walk to the start/finish area).
  7. Fee-free On-line registration WILL be available for this event.

  9. Pre-entry by Friday, September 11th will be $35. Late and post entries will be accepted for $40.
